❓ Common Questions
What data is in each collision record? ▼
Every record includes: collision date/time/location, road conditions, weather, lighting, junction type, speed limit. After unlocking: all vehicles involved (type, make/model, age, manoeuvre, fuel type), driver data (age band, sex, journey purpose), and all casualties (age, sex, type, severity).
How do I recover my credits if I close the browser? ▼
Credits are stored in your browser session. At checkout, enter your email address — this allows us to restore your balance. Contact support with your purchase reference and we'll reinstate your credits manually.
Is this the same data solicitors use? ▼
Yes. This is DfT STATS19 data — the official police-recorded collision dataset used by law firms, insurers, local councils, and road safety researchers. It's open data licensed under OGL v3.0.
What's the difference between credits and subscriptions? ▼
Credits are pay-per-record — buy a pack, unlock individual collision records one by one. Subscriptions give unlimited access to road-level blackspot analysis pages with charts and trends, but not individual records.
Are records from all UK roads? ▼
Records cover all major National Highways roads (motorways and trunk A-roads) plus key urban roads tracked by our feed. This includes 551,000+ collisions across 5 years.
Can I use this for legal or insurance purposes? ▼
You can reference this data for background research. For formal legal evidence, the official route is a Freedom of Information request to the relevant police force. We are not a legal service — see our disclaimer.
